Who I Am

Hello World! (The tech geeks among you will get that reference)

My name is Jon House.

I spent 10 years in the computer industry as a network administrator for a small company. I then tried my hand at real estate; and the only good thing that happened is that it re-ignited my love for photography as I was taking photos of houses and sometimes the other agents I worked with. Around 5 years ago I made the decision to dive into Photography as a career. I’ve spent the last few years improving my skill and by late 2019/early 2020 I was taking steps to start a Portrait and Wedding Photography Business. Then Covid 19 hit and destroyed any chance of getting that business up and running during the pandemic. I then turned my attention to my day job to wait it out like everyone else.

Now that things are returning to a little more like normal I believe it is time for me to start my journey in the world of Wedding Photography. Over the next several months I hope to Second Shoot a few weddings and when I feel that I am ready I will focus on my own wedding photography business.
